Bypass Network TAP for Optimal Network Security

The Profitap 10G Bypass TAP is placed in front of in-line security appliances to keep the network link operational even if the TAP itself becomes unavailable.
The 10G Bypass TAP actively checks the availability of the in-line tools by sending heartbeat packets. If the in-line tools are compromised, the Bypass TAP automatically switches to bypass mode, maintaining the traffic flow through the network.
