This 4-day course consists of classroom lectures and labs taught by Wi-Fi experts. Dive into the intricacies of designing, optimizing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks such as:

• Learning to manipulate floor plans to increase WLAN design effectiveness
• Working with CAD to develop your own floor plans
• Learning to adjust RSSI offsets in Ekahau
• Step by step instruction in how to use Ekahau Report Templates
• Throughput testing with Ekahau e-Perf
• Labs to measure wall attenuation
• Ekahau Connect labs for iPad, iPhone using a Sidekick

Course specifics:

• ECSE Design is a prerequisite
• Designed for Wi-Fi systems engineers, IT administrators, and other wireless professionals
• Receive an exclusive ECSE Advanced certification after passing a certification exam (may be retaken for a minimal fee if not passed during initial course)
• Qualifies for 16 BICSI CECs (OV-EKAH-VA-1218-1)
• Four-day format: 9:00 -17:00
• The training will be held in English

Technical requirements:

During the course, students receive a temporary license to run Ekahau Pro on their laptop. Students will need admin rights on their local machine to install Ekahau Pro.

It is strongly recommended to have a physical mouse for use in class.
